TOUR OF ALBERTA P/B ATB FINANCIAL
The Tour of Alberta presented by ATB Financial is a six-day World-Class professional cycling race held in the gorgeous province of Alberta, Canada, September 2-7, 2015. The largest pro-cycling race in Canada’s history, and one of the largest spectator events is back in 2015 with new challenging courses and host cities. With the event being held right before the 2015 World Cycling Championships in Richmond, VA, the race will feature the top cyclists from around the World that will included Olympic Medalists, National Champions, Tour de France Champions and Contenders and World Champions. This will be the best field of riders yet to race in Alberta.
For the first time in Tour of Alberta presented by ATB Financial history, the race heads up into the Rocky Mountains starting with a team time trial in Grande Prairie. Staying in the Rockies, the race continues in Grande Prairie County, moving to Grand Cache and finishing in Jasper National Park. The race then starts in Jasper with it’s first mountain top finish at Marmot Basin. The race begins to move towards the flat lands of Edson, Spruce Grove and finishing with a circuit race in Edmonton, claiming it’s 3rd winner of the Tour of Alberta printed by ATB Financial.
NATIONAL WHEELCHAIR BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION
KOM Sports will be working with former USOC CEO Jim Scherr, on several things in 2016, including re-branding and re-positioning the organization, building out new and existing properties and strategic plans for the National Wheelchair Basketball Association, located in Colorado Springs. The organization is the oldest and most prolific of the U.S. Paralympic sports organizations.
S.K.Y. STREETBALL SYNDICATE
S.K.Y. Streetball Syndicate was an original brand started in 2009, with a mission steeped in community outreach. An acronym for (S)erving (K)nowledge to (Y)outh. SKY Streetball Syndicate teams have played in more than 15 countries over the past six years and has touted many of the top street basketball players, including Mr. 720, Spyda, Pat Da Roc, Half-Man-Half-Amazing, and Hot Sauce. SKY features “open runs” to pick teams then conducts exhibition games, speaking engagements and camps and clinics.
From 2010 to 2013, SKY played a national tour in China sponsored by VOIT and Gatorade. They were executive producers of a ground-breaking reality TV series broadcast on CCTV (300 million viewers).
